downsized_1117092107aJust a quick blog to post my tribute to Mercy, and of course all of the furkids lost prior and that I’m sure I’ll have the misfortune to part with in the future.  The picture isn’t that great.  This is an hour after I got it. The quote is “A heartbeat at my feet”.  Some people may not be big on tattoos… but this was a part of my healing process.  I got it a week after I lost Mercy, and as it heals, so am I still trying to heal.

Nice work, and a beautiful tribute. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, that is beautiful!!! It reminds me a bit of this youtube video that I saw recently. I love the last line of the song: “And in my human frailty, I can’t match their love for me.” So true.

I believe with certainty that we will see them again.

    RIP little Mercy,

That is a beautiful tribute to Mercy!!! I started to tear up just looking at it! I think all of your furkids are looking down at you smiling!

That is beautiful!! Did you design it yourself? Such a beautiful tribute…

How are you doing these days? I’m sure the holiday was difficult for you… as it has been for me and many others that have recently lost their babies… They say that time heals… but I’m still waiting for that to happen… 🙁

    Sending you a big hug!

I’m so sorry to hear about Mercy…it’s just not fair 🙁
We’re sending you hugs and comfort and hopefully a little peace.

I love your tribute – it’s really beautiful…I took a picture of Zeus’ paw print and had that tattooed on the inside of my ankle – my first tattoo – I wanted him with me always and forever and that’s where he always rested his head when we snuggled. I understand. It is part of the healing process for me too.
